Who this site is for
Forestry contractors, land-clearing and civil contractors, road and rail maintenance crews, councils, utility vegetation managers, agricultural businesses and fleet managers who are about to spend serious money on an excavator-mounted forestry, clearing or vegetation-management attachment and want to get the specification right before they sign.
What we set out to do
Most attachment marketing stops at a tonne class and a maximum diameter. Professional buyers need more: what the attachment really does, which carrier it needs and why, which model fits which work, which specifications matter and which are noise, what limits production in Australian hardwood, what wears out and what it costs, what to compare it against, and what to confirm in writing before ordering. Every page on this site is written to answer those questions.
Where the specifications come from
Model specifications are compiled from current manufacturer publications (Trevi Benne, Dipperfox, Shearex, Powerhand and OMEF) and from Australian distributor material published by Machinery Specialist, South Windsor NSW, which distributes all five brands in Australia and New Zealand. Each model page lists its sources. Where a figure is indicative, historic or published only at family level, the page says so.

Specifications, capacities, carrier bands and hydraulic requirements are published in good faith and can change without notice. They are a guide only. Nothing on this site is a compatibility approval, a safety assessment, a production guarantee or a quotation. Carrier suitability must be assessed by the supplier for the exact machine, boom, stick, counterweight, coupler and working radius, using the manufacturer's lift chart and hydraulic data. Cutting and gripping capacities are never lifting capacities. Illustrative cost and production arithmetic uses hypothetical figures.
